Nate Reeser pitched a one-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts to lead the Hagerstown Braves over the Martinsburg Blue Sox.

Kevin Crawford had two hits, scored three runs and stole three bases, while Reeser improves his pitching mark to 3-0 for Hagerstown (18-3, 11-1).


Clear Spring Minor League

Astros 12, Orioles 0: Cody McCarthy pitched a one-hitter with 14 strikeouts to lead the Astros.

West End Minor League

FOP 13, St. Lawrence 9: Ricky Burnett, John Zeigler and Jarrett Sif had two RBIs apiece, and Zeigler picked up the win for FOP.


South Mountain Little League

Optimist 13, Reese's 6: Ryan Kumsher had four hits and Josh Lewis and Chad Winger had two hits each to lead Optimist. Derrick Wisner had three hits and Sean Rose had two doubles for Reese's.

Halfway Little League

Valley Storage Bin 16, Hoffman Auto 3: Daniel Lynn, Matt Henneberger and Dustin Stottlemyer had three hits and Jesse Boggs, Josh Smith and David Warrenfeltz had two hits apiece, while Boggs homered to lead Valley Storage Bin.

West End Little League

Moose 4, VFW 2: Adam Thomas homered, and Aaron Wagner struck out eight to lead Moose. Mike Shiffler, Matt Murray and Cole Capshaw all had two hits for VFW.

American Little League

Goodwill 6, VFW 3: Matt Godlove and Quielan Gant combined on a three-hitter with 14 strikeouts to lead Goodwill.

FOP 24, Funkstown Legion 4: Jeremiah Twigg struck out 11 and Ben Smith went 5-for-5 with three doubles to lead FOP. Ryan Winter had two hits for Legion.

National Little League

Elks 13, FOP 11: David Seibert had four hits and struck out 10, and Sean Marriner had two hits for Elks. Nathan Steelman and Shane Crabtree had two hits each for FOP.

Hancock Little League

A's 23, Tigers 13: P.J. Hixon had four hits, Ryan James and Billy Truax had three hits each, Bryant Wallizer had two RBIs and Bryan Kratz and Josh Merica had two hits each to lead the A's. Jeremy Newton, Jordan Sterner and Joel Barnhart had two hits each for the Tigers.

Federal Little League

Exchange 16, American Legion 9: Trevor Hullinger had three hits and Kevin Brashears and Daniel Zamora each had two hits to lead Exchange. Danny Ryan, Peter Sanicola, Sean Morrissey and Dustin Mizah had two hits each for American Legion.

Conococheague Little League

Redmen 7, Wolfe's 5: Josh Bowers and Aerik Taylor combined for nine strikeouts, while Taylor had four RBIs and Joe Siler had two hits for Redmen. Josh Cupp had two doubles for Wolfe's.

Valley Little League

Pangborn 10, Dorsey Bros. 9: Matt Feiser, Kyle Schellenberg, A.J. Meckl and Matt Sullivan had two hits apiece to lead Pangborn. David Barnhart had three hits and Brent Rohrer had two hits for Dorsey Bros.

Maugansville Little League

Home Care 12, Executone 1: Chris Miller and Eric Higgins collected three hits each and Mike Hamby had two hits, including a grand slam, for Home Care.

Clear Spring Little League

Cubs 15, Reds 4: Cody Beard, Thomas James and winning pitcher Josh Barnhart had three hits apiece and Jeremy Everitts and Aaron Weber had two hits apiece for the Cubs.

Sharpsburg Little League

American Trust Bank 14, Lions Club 2: Derek Crist had three hits and Luke Hintze and Matt Davler had two hits each to lead American Trust Bank. Bill Cornell and Adam Sheetz had two hits each for Lions Club.

Hagerstown Pony League

Hagerstown Floors 16, FOP 7: Winning pitcher John Quail had three hits, and Dustin Smeck, Matt Mastiano, Matt Reed and Adam Ward had a pair of hits each to lead Hagerstown Floors.

Mike Brooks had three hits and Josh Keyton had two hits, including a three-run homer, for FOP.

VFW 4, FOP 3: Bobby Ord homered to back up winning pitcher Kyle Wilson for VFW. Les Martin had three hits, including a double, and P.J. Hiser had two hits - a double and triple - for FOP.

UAW 7, Henson's 3: Mark Lipella had three hits and Paul Fisher homered to lead UAW. Matt Hood had two hits for Henson's.

Halfway Sr. League

Elks 23, Minnick's 0: Derrick McAllister had two hits and threw a no-hitter to pace Elks. Adam McAllister had three hits, while Gary Combs, Brian Royce and Travis Dunahugh had two hits each.

Spicher's 18, Penn Ave. Meats 3: Zack Stowell had four hits, including two home runs, Jason Litten and Quintin Harmison had three hits each and Bobby Long had two hits for Spicher's.
