Spring Fest continues today at Renfrew

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Spring Fest at the Renfrew Museum and Park will continue today from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a petting zoo, crafts and live music, said curator Jeffrey E. Bliemeister.

Musicians include Rob Caruthers and Valerie Capeille at 11:30 a.m. and Ed McDade at 12:30 p.m.

A sheep shearing demonstration will be held at 1:30 p.m.

The festival marks the opening weekend of the museum's season, which lasts through October, Bliemeister said.

Free tours will be given today of the museum from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., with tours leaving every 20 minutes from the visitors center.


The museum will be open for tours from 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tours cost $3 for adults, $2.50 for senior citizens, $1.50 for children and are free for children under 6.
