April 16, 1998

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The Wilson College Choir will present "Melodies of Spring" from noon to 1 p.m. today at the Capitol Theatre, 159 S. Main St., Chambersburg.

The Wilson College Choir is composed of students from Korea, China, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, as well as from many parts of the United States.

Three "Alleluia's" will begin the performance - one contemporary, and the others by Bach and Mozart. Songs with the themes of springtime and the garden will follow, including a madrigal titled "Spring."

A humorous note will be struck with "Father William," taken from Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland." The jazz classic "Mood Indigo" will conclude the program.
