Members of the 6th Maryland Regiment Volunteer Infantry will be encamped near Williamsport Visitor Center. Between September and December 1863, the original Fighting 6th was assigned to guard the Conococheague Aqueduct and the Potomac River crossings between Williamsport and Hagerstown.
