GREENCASTLE, Pa. - A Greencastle woman was pronounced dead at Waynesboro Hospital Sunday afternoon from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident, according to Franklin County Chief Deputy Coroner Jeffrey Conner.

Doris V. Talhelm, 77, of 25 E. Baltimore St., Apt. 16, was pronounced dead at 5:15 p.m. Conner said the cause of death was multiple trauma.

Greencastle Borough Police had not released an accident report as of Sunday night. The accident was reported to Franklin County's 911 center at 4:46 p.m., Conner said.

The accident occurred at the intersection of U.S. 11 and Walters Avenue, he said.

Talhelm was driving south on U.S. 11 when she attempted a left turn and drove into the path of a northbound vehicle driven by Brian A. Abercrombie, of 55 Hillen Lane, Chambersburg, Conner said.
