The Washington County Agricultural Education Center has received an additional $48,500 in donations for the Washington County Rural Heritage Museum, which is scheduled for completion by November.
With the donations, the center has raised $235,000 toward matching a $350,000 state grant for the project. The center has until May 1999 to match the state grant.
The Williamsport Red Men Lodge 84 pledged $20,000 for the project.
And $16,000 more was pledged by the Maryland Society for Crippled Children and Adults Foundation Inc. to build bathrooms designed to meet the needs of the disabled.
Charles and Phyllis Groh Pitzer of Hagerstown donated $12,500.
