HARRISBURG, Pa. - Two stop signs will be installed Thursday at the intersection of Lemar Road, Pa. 995 and Woods Road in Peters Township, Franklin County, Pa., according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
Currently, traffic traveling south on Pa. 995 and north on Woods Road must stop. The additional stop signs will stop motorists traveling south on Lemar Road and north on Pa. 995. This will create a four-way stop at the intersection.
To alert motorists of the change, a "stop ahead" sign equipped with a flashing light will be placed approximately 500 feet before each new stop sign. They will be in place for 30 days following installation.
Work will be conducted weather-permitting.
