Traffic signal upgrades to continue
Crews are expected to continue work to upgrade traffic signals at the same four intersections for the next few weeks, said City Engineer Bruce Johnston.
Those intersections are where East Washington and East Franklin streets meet Cannon Avenue and Mulberry Street.
Drivers should expect delays at those intersections and avoid Cannon Avenue, city officials said. The traffic patterns approaching those intersections will vary.
Businesses in those areas can expect traffic congestion and sections of sidewalks will be closed to pedestrians during work hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., officials said.
