Bonds are set in drug raid cases

Bonds were set Friday for the adults charged Thursday night in a drug raid focused on a three-block area in and around Williamsport.

Washington County District Court Judge Noel Spence saw:

- Christopher Lee Fraley, 22, of 17745 Virginia Ave., Apt. 1, Hagerstown, who is charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Bond was set at $25,000.

- Timothy Michael Ramsey, 20, of 33 W. Salisbury St., Williamsport, who is charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. Bond remained at $25,000 after bond review.

- Donald Wayne Harrell, 20, of 29 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, who is charged with distribution of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.

Harrell was taken into custody at his place of employment in Williamsport, Cpl. Bob Leatherman said. His bond remained at $30,000.

- Jason Alan Carter, 19, of 106 W. Potomac St., Williamsport, who is charged with distribution of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Bond stayed at $30,000.

- Curtis Lynn Myers, 33, of 106 W. Potomac St., Williamsport, who is charged with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. He was released on personal recognizance.

- Susan Laird Price, 30, of 163 N. Conococheague St., Apt. 14, who is charged with distribution of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession and conspiracy to distribute cocaine. Originally $30,000, her bond was raised to $100,000.

- Scott Allen Swope, 28, of 153 N. Conococheague St., who is charged with distribution of LSD, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Bond remained at $60,000.

Also caught up in the drug sweep Thursday were:

- A 17-year-old juvenile from Frederick, Md., who is charged with manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

- Two 15-year-olds and an 11-year-old, who were all charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thirty officers, divided into teams, raided seven homes during the sweep. The raid began at 8 p.m. and continued for about 2 1/2 hours.

Cash and drugs, including LSD, powdered cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana seedlings, were confiscated during the arrests.

"We expect more arrests in the Williamsport area in the next few days," said Leatherman, a member of the narcotics task force.
