Seating added for Globetrotters

Tickets for the Harlem Globetrotters Saturday performance at Hagerstown Junior College have sold out, but due to demand more seating has been added.

The 8 p.m. performance at the Athletic, Recreation and Community Center is sponsored by the Hagerstown Junior College Hawk Booster Club.

Paul Swartz, coordinator of the booster club, said 2,500 tickets for the show have been sold. The booster club is renting bleachers from the Alsatia Club, and up to 700 tickets will be available at the door Saturday night on a first-come, first-served basis, he said.

General admission seats are $12 for adults and $10 for children 12 and younger or senior citizens 60 and older.

Doors open at 7 p.m.

The Globetrotters will play the New York Nationals as part of the "What Sports Should Be" tour.
