Fairgrounds options

The public may attend tonight's meeting about the future of the Hagerstown Fairgrounds, said City Planner Kathy Maher.

"They don't let us know what they want, chances are they won't get it," Maher said.

If residents cannot attend the 6:30 p.m. meeting, they can ask to speak at next Tuesday's 4 p.m. City Council work session or call Maher before Tuesday with their opinions at 301-739-8577, ext. 140, she said.

Alternative One

- Four regulation-size softball fields with restroom pavilion in center.

- Four regulation-size soccer fields, two of which would overlap onto two of the softball fields.
