Senior menus

The Washington County Commission on Aging offers noon lunches to anyone over 60 years old at seven locations - Hancock, Smithsburg, Keedysville, Williamsport and three in Hagerstown.

A two-day reservation notice is required and a donation is asked per meal. For more information, call 301-790-0275.

Weekly menu Feb. 25 - March 3

* Wednesday - Baked Haddock Scandia, sweet potatoes and apples, broccoli, whole-grain bread, pears and milk.

* Thursday - Chicken patty and gravy, whipped potatoes, glazed carrots, whole-grain bread, sliced apples and milk.

* Friday - Maryland seafood chowder, small cheese bun, tossed salad, cherry crisp and milk.

* Monday - Chicken nuggets and gravy, mashed potatoes, peas, whole-grain bread, applesauce and milk.

* Tuesday - Orange juice, rib-i-que, brown rice pilaf, green beans, whole-grain bread, fudgy brownie and milk.

Weekly menu March 4 - 10


* Wednesday - Creamy lettuce, macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, sweet potato biscuit, sliced pears and milk.

* Thursday - Coleslaw, roast beef and gravy, whipped potatoes, whole-grain bread, apricots and milk.

* Friday - Fish fillet, parsley potatoes, broccoli, whole-grain bread, crispy rice treat, peaches and milk.

* Monday - Beef teriyaki sticks and gravy, noodles, peas, whole-grain bread, pineapple chunks and milk.

* Tuesday - Chicken patty, potato wedges, mixed vegetables, whole-grain bread, chocolate yogurt, fruit cocktail and milk.
