Wakeman-Younker

Shawnee Lou Younker and Michael Brian Wakeman were married Saturday, September 27, 1997, at Amity Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, N.C.

The bride is the daughter of Maurice and Shirley Younker of Hancock. The bridegroom is the son of Brian and Sheila Wakeman of Dartford, Kent, England.

The bride is a 1988 graduate of Southern Fulton High School in Warfordsburg, Pa., a 1992 graduate of Catawba College in Salisbury, N.C., and received her master's degree from University of North Carolina in Charlotte. She is employed as a teacher of exceptional children with Rowan County School System in Salisbury.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Wilmington School of Dartford, Kent, a 1992 graduate of Catawba College and received his master's degree from University of North Carolina in Charlotte. He is employed as an information security specialist with First Union Bank.

They live in Charlotte.

Weaver-Miniter

Christine Marie Miniter and Shawn Kelly Weaver were united in marriage Saturday, Sept. 20, 1997, at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Williamsport.

The bride is the daughter of Judith and Timothy Miniter of Clear Spring. The bridegroom is the son of June and Lynn Weaver of Big Pool.

The new Mrs. Weaver is a 1991 graduate of Clear Spring High School, a 1996 graduate of Shepherd College and a 1997 graduate of University of Maryland at Baltimore with a master's degree in social work. She is employed as a medical social worker at Washington County Hospital.

The bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of Clear Spring High School and a 1993 graduate of Hagerstown Junior College with an associate's degree in business management. He is employed by Ralph Weaver and Son Inc.

Angela Marie Horn and Christopher Raleigh Howlett were united in marriage Saturday, September 6, 1997, at New Guilford Brethren In Christ Church, Chambersburg, Pa.

The bride is the daughter of Landon and Pat Horn of Fayetteville, Pa. The bridegroom is the son of Deborah Burton and Ronald Howlett.
