Robbery at YMCA early Saturday

A robbery was reported at the YMCA early Saturday morning, according to Hagerstown Police.

Police didn't release other details Saturday.

Woman, 30, faces prostitution charge

Hagerstown Police arrested a Williamsport woman Saturday morning on a prostitution charge.

Tammy Lee Mills, 30, of Clear Spring Road in Williamsport, was picked up at 11:48 a.m. by an undercover detective in the 100 block of North Prospect Street.

Police said Mills was taken to the police station and arrested after allegedly offering the detective sex for money.

Mazda reported stolen from South Potomac

A 1991 Mazda MX-6 was stolen from 153 S. Potomac St. sometime Friday night or Saturday morning, Hagerstown Police said.


The car is white with a luggage rack and the license plate DVY 532.

Robbery attempt foiled- no money available

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A man wearing a red-hooded jacket attempted to rob two men at gunpoint Friday night at the Kentucky Fried Chicken at 1226 Lincoln Way East in Guilford Township, Pennsylvania State Police said.

A white man entered the restaurant at 11:10 p.m. and pointed a hand gun at John Seyler, 23, of Washington Street in Chambersburg, and Kevin Schultz, 18, of Schoolhouse Road in Saint Thomas, Pa.

The man demanded cash, but fled after he realized that no money was available, police said.

$4,000 forged check cashed at bank branch

SPRING RUN, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a $4,000 forged check that was cashed at Orrstown Bank branch at 16400 Path Valley Road Feb. 2 at 8:30 a.m.

No information was available from police on the suspect.
