Ice skating

Public skating sessions will be today and Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday from 2 to 5 and 7:30 to 10 p.m.; admission is $2 for ages 5 and younger, $3 for ages 6 to 12 and $4 for ages 13 and older; skate rental is $2. Pickup hockey will be today and Sunday from 9:15 to 10:45 p.m., Saturday from 10:15 to 11:45 p.m. Admission is $7. Call 1-717-762-0900.

When - Tonight and Saturday from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday matinees from 1 to 4 p.m.

Skate lessons are every Saturday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for $3, including rental. Tonight and Saturday's admission is $5 and matinees are $3. Regular skate rental is $1, speed skates and in-line skates rentals are $2.50. Call 301-582-2020.

Chambersburg Mall and WAYZ will host NASCAR '98. Highlights will include the Dale Earnhardt "Wheaties" car, more than 30 tables of NASCAR collectibles, local driver autograph sessions and games. There also will be an appearance from Miss Motoroma, local drivers and NASCAR girl.

'Grace and Glorie'

Where - The Old Opera House, 204 N. George St., Charles Town, W.Va.

When - Tonight and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Cost - $11 for adults, $7 for students, $5 for children age 12 and younger, and $9 for adults Sunday matinee.

The bittersweet comedy contains only two characters - Grace, a feisty 90-year-old woman stricken with cancer, and Glorie, a tense, guilt-ridden 45-year-old New Yorker who cares for her. Cost - $25 for adults, $20 for students and senior citizens and $12 for children 12 and younger for buffet and show.
