Pa. arsons under investigation

ST. THOMAS, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg are investigating three arson fires that destroyed a truck and motor home and damaged a labor camp early Saturday morning in St. Thomas Township.

An International box truck, parked at Armstrong Cabinet Co., 9500 Lincoln Way West, was set on fire at about 12:11 a.m., police said. The truck was destroyed.

A second fire was discovered at a labor camp building at the Gerald D. Edwards Orchard on Campbell Run Road. Police say the arsonists set fire to the beds. The building sustained minor damage from fire, heat and smoke.

A third fire was set in a stolen motor home near the labor camp. Police say the motor home was used by the arsonists before being set on fire. It was completely destroyed.
