Libertarian talk scheduled
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Charles Murray, author of "What it Means to be a Libertarian: A Personal Interpretation," will speak at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27 in the Storer Ballroom of the College Center. He will speak about the Libertarian movement in a speech titled, "The Next American Revolution."
In 1994, Murray and the late Richard J. Herstein published "The Bell Curve: Intelligence and Class Structure in American Life."
A book-signing will follow the speech.
He is the author of numerous books, including "Losing Ground: American Social Policy 1950-1980" and "In Pursuit: Of Happiness and Good Government."
Murray is the Bradley Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. Prior to his affiliation with AEI, Murray was chief scientist for the American Institutes for Research.
