Bomb threat at Frederick High School
FREDERICK, Md. - Students at Frederick High School were evacuated briefly after the school received a bomb threat Friday morning.
Police officers searched the building and at 9:50 a.m., 10 minutes before the caller said the bomb would explode, the students were ordered outside. About 10:10 a.m., the students were allowed back inside.
A copy of the 911 tape led to a former student, who now attends a different school, being charged with false statement of a destructive device and telephone misuse.
The 15-year-old boy was released to the custody of his mother.
