MCCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police identified the 65-year-old man killed in a head-on collision Monday afternoon on U.S. 30 as Robert W. Swain of Everett, Pa.
Swain was traveling west on U.S. 30 in Licking Creek Township at 3 p.m. when his 1987 Subaru crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a 1992 GMC flatbed truck driven by Jorey Keen Riley, 32, of Greencastle, Pa., according to a police report.
After the collision, both vehicles went into the westbound lane, police said. Police said they do not know why Swain's car crossed the center line.
