Foul weather headed this way
Washington County's spring-like weather could be a distant memory by Thursday.
Snow should develop around midnight tonight, with a mixture of sleet, snow and possibly freezing rain continuing throughout much of the day on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
"It doesn't look too good for that area," said meteorologist Jim Wiesmueller.
Wiesmueller said the culprit is a low-pressure system forming in the Gulf Coast. Forecasters expect the system to gradually move in a northeasterly direction.
