She was a member of Lioness Club of Greencastle, where she was awarded Lioness of the Year in 1997.

She is survived by her husband, Harry C. Hoskins III; two sons, Harry C. Hoskins IV of Chambersburg, Pa., and Richard C. Hoskins of Marion; two sisters, Teresa Kitchen of Suffolk, Va., and Rose Wagner of Monticello, Va.; two brothers, Jerome Sessions of Hephzibah, Ga., and Alan Sessions of Chambersburg; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate.

There will be no viewing.

Evelyn G. Rogers

ELLISVILLE, Miss. - Evelyn G. Rogers, 84, of Ellisville, and formerly of Chambersburg, Pa., died Friday, Jan. 9, 1998, at South Central Regional Medical Center, Laurel, Miss.

Born May 28, 1913, in Pleasant Hall, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Alice Wright Guyer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland G. Rogers.

She was employed by the former Stanley Co. in Chambersburg and the former Glen L. Martin Aircraft Manufacturing in Hagerstown.

She was a member of Ellisville United Methodist Church, Ellisville.

She is survived by one daughter, Dixie Walters of Laurel; one son, Lee Dennis of Pachuta, Miss.; one sister, Alverda Eckenrode of Fayetteville, Pa.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be today at 1 p.m. at Norland Cemetery, Chambersburg. The Rev. Paul B. Baker will officiate.

Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Springs Road, Chambersburg.
