Traffic patterns in the North Jonathan Street area could change as early as Saturday, city engineering officials said Thursday.
A plan to curb illegal drug activity calls for making several streets and alleys one-way northbound.
The one-way signs will start going up Saturday with all of them expected to be up next week, city officials said. The signs will be effective immediately.
Signs announcing parking restrictions to two hours on Sumans Avenue are expected to go up in three weeks, said City Engineer Bruce Johnston.
