Jefferson Urgent Care opens Monday

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. - Jefferson Memorial Hospital will be opening a medical office Monday in the Somerset Village Shopping Center aimed at commuters and others who can't get into their doctor's office.
Jefferson Urgent Care, in the same shopping center as Food Lion, is also intended to serve those who need immediate medical attention, but are not so seriously hurt they need the hospital's emergency room, said Jefferson Memorial Hospital spokeswoman Teresa McCabe.
The hospital is opening Jefferson Urgent Care with Medical Management Solutions of Martinsburg, she said.
Dr. Scott Morgan will be the primary physician at Jefferson Urgent Care. He's worked in Jefferson Memorial Hospital's emergency room for about five years, she said.
