Both Scouts are members of Boy Scout Troop 99 of the Mason-Dixon Council.

Johnson is an assistant Scoutmaster and merit badge counselor.

Witmer serves as senior patrol leader and has earned 25 merit badges to date, including his Ad Altare Dei Religious award.
