Tooley-Schmidt

Mr. and Mrs. Paul E. Schmidt Sr. of Hagerstown wish to announce the engagement of their son, Paul E. Schmidt Jr. D.D.S., to Laura Tooley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Omar F. Quesada of San Jose, Costa Rica.

Ms. Tooley is a 1979 graduate of Leuzinger High School in Laundale, Calif., and a 1992 graduate of the Naval Maxillofacial Prosthetics School in Bethesda, Md. She is employed by the U.S. Navy.

Dr. Schmidt is a 1977 graduate of Hagerstown Junior College, a 1979 graduate of Mount Saint Mary's College and a 1983 graduate of Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. He is employed by Dental Associates Ltd. as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

A Dec. 20 wedding is planned at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Hagerstown.

Dattilio-Shanholtz

Mr. and Mrs. Stephen J. Dattilio and Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Socks wish to announce the engagement of their children, Wendy Maria Dattilio and Jammie Lynn Shanholtz.

Miss Dattilio is a 1988 graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School and a graduate of Allentown College of St. Francis DeSales with a bachelor of arts degree in dance. She is employed by First Data Merchant Services as an assistant manager of merchant services.

Mr. Shanholtz is a 1990 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and attended Hagerstown Junior College. He is employed by First Data Merchant Services as a client services supervisor.

An Aug. 22, 1998, wedding is planned at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hagerstown.
