The driver of the car, Dana Lee Mentzer, 17, of 4680 Carbaugh Road, Fayetteville, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A rear seat passenger, identified by state police as Corey A. Dick, 11148 Loop Road, Fayetteville, was treated and released at Waynesboro Hospital.

The trio was on their way to school when the accident occurred at 7:15 a.m., police said.

Mills and Dick were ejected by the impact. None of the occupants were wearing seat belts, police said.
