MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - City police are putting out fliers on cars this week advising motorists that no parking will be allowed along the route of Saturday's Mountain State Apple Harvest parade.
The restrictions will be in place from 8 a.m. until the conclusion of the parade, according to the police department. The Apple Trample Run is scheduled to begin at noon and the Grand Feature Parade will kick off at 1 p.m.
The parade route begins on the 1400 block of West King Street going eastbound to Raleigh Street, northbound to Martin Street, eastbound to Queen Street and then southbound to the vicinity of Martinsburg High School.
The Apple Trample Run begins at War Memorial Park, goes south on Tennessee Avenue and then onto King Street, where it follows the parade route.
