Marine Lance Cpl. Jamell I. Lee Heung, son of Wanda D. King of North Boyd Street, Fort Ritchie, Md., recently reported for duty with Supply School Company, Marine Corps Service Support Schools at Camp Lejeune, N.C.

The 1996 graduate of Gwynn Par High School in Brandywine, Md., joined the Marine Corps in 1996.

Marine Pvt. Eric D. Hogbin, son of Raymond W. Hogbin of North Green Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., recently completed basic training with Recruit Training Regiment, Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.

Marine Pfc. Earnest E. Jones, son of Earnest E. Jones Sr., of Charles Town, W.Va., recently completed the Field Radio Operator's Course.

The 1996 graduate of Leesburg (Fla.) High School joined the Marine Corps in December 1996.

Navy Seaman Curtis L. Pierce has recently departed on a five-month South American deployment aboard the attack submarine USS Sand Lance.

The 1996 graduate of Loudoun Valley High School in Purcellville, Va., joined the Navy in July 1996.

Marine Lance Cpl. Scott W. Kellecher, son of Jim F. and Kathleen M. Kellecher of Kearneysville, W.Va., recently graduated froml the KC-130 Hercules Airframes Mechanical Organizational Maintenance Course.

The 1996 graduate of Martinsburg (W.Va.) High School joined the Marine Corps in August 1996.

David A. Conrad received practical work in military leadership at the ROTC Advanced Camp at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, Wash.

The cadet is a student at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. He is the son of Allen and Sandy Conrad of 143 Guilford Drive, Chambersburg, Pa.

His wife, Pam, is the daughter of Daryl and Lucille Glunt of Highway Contract Route 75, Burnt Cabins, Pa.

He is a 1985 graduate of Chambersburg High School.

Marine Lance Cpl. Matthew M. Shirk, son of Michael G. Shirk of Chewsville, recently reported for duty with Headquarters and Service Battalion, Marine Corps Combat Development Center, Quantico, Va.

He is a 1995 graduate of James Buchanan High School of Mercersburg, Pa.
