The Washington County Agricultural Education Center will receive a $25,000 donation to its facilities fund from the AC&T Corp. in a public ceremony at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ag Center on Md. 65.
Richard Schukraft, chairman of the center's fund-raising committee, said the donation will help match state funds for construction of new facilities at the center, which is one of 16 Washington County parks.
AC&T, a locally owned petroleum distributor, operates a chain of retail gasoline outlets and convenience stores.
