Dirt bike taken from Boonsboro shed

BOONSBORO - A $6,000 dirt bike was stolen early Wednesday morning, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Department.

The bike, a green 1998 Kawasaki dirt bike, was kept in a metal shed behind 3 Ford Ave., deputies said.

3 women charged with drug offenses

Three women were arrested early Wednesday morning and charged with a variety of drug offenses, Hagerstown City Police said.

The trio was taken into custody in the 400 block of Park Place, police said.

Charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and a school zone violation are:

- Monique Renee Singleton, 20, of 203 E. Franklin St., Apt. 6.

- Africa Racheda Addison, 20, of 307 W. South St., Frederick.

- Stephanie Nicole Saunders, 21, of 410 Park Place.

Singleton was being held at the Washington County Detention Center on $50,000 bond Wednesday night. Initial bond was set at $40,000 for the other two.

CD, watches taken from city apartment

A resident of 21 W. Antietam St. returned to his apartment Tuesday and encountered a man running down the stairs, Hagerstown City Police said.

A check of the apartment revealed someone had stolen a CD player and some watches, valued at $250.
