CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - The fall session of the Institute for Retired Persons has begun at Wilson College in Chambersburg.
Classes, which are still open, are held at 9 a.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the auditorium of the Havens Science Center through Nov. 8.
The IRP features lectures, potpourri sessions, the "Armchair Traveler" and various trips. The sessions will include a series on China, music, philosophy of art, health and travel. Trips will be taken to various archaelogical and historical sites in and around Franklin County.
Registration is $15 for singles and $25 for married couples, excluding trip costs. Attendance is not taken and there are no exams.
