Cheese Platter

Preparing appetizers for a tailgate party is as easy as a "quarterback snap" with an attractive platter of cheeses.

Allow about 4 to 6 ounces per person, and select a variety of three to four cheeses with different textures and flavors:

A hard cheese such as cheddar, baby Swiss or havarti, cubed

A soft, ripened cheese such as baby brie or camembert

A soft, spreadable cheese

Surround the cheese tray with a variety of crackers, crusty breads, fruits or vegetables and some no-work appetizers are complete and ready for the kickoff.
