WILLIAMSPORT - A conference focusing on children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and other special needs will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at Springfield Middle School in Williamsport.
The 10th annual Parent Information and Training Center Conference will offer information on how to deal with family stress, autism and financial planning for children with disabilities.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. John J. Vacca of the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins University. Vacca will speak on using behavior management to break anger and aggression.
The conference, sponsored by the Washington County Board of Education, is free to the public. Free babysitting will be provided.
