Two boys, 8 and 10, face chargesin theft, break-in

Two Hagerstown boys, 8 and 10 years old, were charged through juvenile services with theft and breaking and entering into a house in the 9800 block of Crossfield Road on Aug. 5, the Washington County Sheriff's Department said.

The boys allegedly forced the door of the home open, vandalized items inside and took pictures of themselves in the house with Polaroid cameras they had moved from their storage area, police said.

The photographs were later discovered and turned over to the victim, Thomas Mercuro, police said.

The boys were charged Friday and then released to their parents, police said.

Frederick man held on charges

FREDERICK, Md. - A Frederick man was charged early Saturday morning with breaking and entering, a fourth degree sex offense and second degree assault, Frederick City Police said.


William T. Holly, 31, of North Market Street, was accused of entering a neighbor's apartment about 3:20 a.m. and fondling her, police said.

The victim and her boyfriend chased the suspect and he ran into his apartment, police said.

Frederick man faces drug charges

FREDERICK, Md. - A Frederick man was charged with drug and traffic offenses after allegedly failing to stop at a red light shortly after 3 p.m. Friday at U.S. 40 west and Hoke Place, Frederick City Police said.

Michael S. Lindenberg, 26, of the 1000 block of Greystone Drive, was charged with possession of marijuana, hashish and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Man charged in gun incident

FREDERICK, Md. - A Frederick man was charged with assault after an argument between brothers involving a gun Saturday morning, Frederick Police said.

Dennis C. Fink, 44, of the 200 block of Magnolia Avenue, was charged with first degree assault, second degree assault, reckless endangerment, transporting a hangun in a vehicle, and possession of a weapon with intent to injure.

Police said Fink pointed a loaded .38-caliber revolver in the face of his brother, Kenneth S. Fink, 43.

Their mother, Grace L. Fink, 75, placed herself between them but was pushed away by Dennis Fink, police said.

Two Pa. men face drug charges

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Two Franklin County men were charged Wednesday with drug offenses following an undercover drug investigation by the Franklin County Drug Task Force and the Pennsylvania State Police.

Walter Jefferson Osenbaugh, 21, of Greencastle, Pa., was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana after allegedly buying three pounds of marijuana from an undercover trooper in Antrim Township, state police said.

Kevin Rhodes, 25, of Waynesboro, Pa., was charged later with criminal conspiracy to possess marijuana, police said.

Both men posted bail and were released from Franklin County Prison, police said.

2 Mont Alto men face drug charges

MONT ALTO, Pa. - Two Mont Alto men were charged with drug offenses following the execution of a search warrant Thursday at 5435 Anthony Highway in Quincy Township, Pennsylvania State Police in Chambersburg said.

Terry Bumbaugh, 24, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Chad Rzomp, 24, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, police said.

Approximately five pounds of marijuana, $3,364 and various drug paraphernalia such as scales and pipes were seized, police said.

Both men were placed in Franklin County Prison on $15,000 bail, police said.

Bumbaugh was still in jail Friday while Rzomp had posted bail, police said.

The Franklin County Drug Task Force, the state police and the Chambersburg Police Department were involved in the investigation.
