Charities receiving tip jar funds

Charities received $624,617.96 in tip jar proceeds and the United Way received $19,318.

In all, 56 of 78 charities that applied for funding received something.

This was the first period when the $15,000 cap on grants to charities was lifted, and 10 charities received more than $15,000.

The funding awards were:
