CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Chambersburg man accused of shooting another man in the forehead early Saturday morning was arrested Monday and was being held in Franklin County Prison in lieu of $1 million bail, according to Chambersburg Police.
Anthony Jackson, 28, of 248 W. Catherine St., was arrested at 11:27 p.m. at 250 Larch Ave., police said.
He is charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault, police said.
Brumfield, 24, of 179 S. Second St., was treated and released at Chambersburg Hospital after he was shot at the corner of West South Street and Hollywell Avenue with a small caliber handgun, police said.
Jackson's preliminary hearing has been scheduled for July 29.
