The victims in the drive-by shooting were standing with a group of people on West South Street across from the Laurel Lodge IBPOE at about 2:08 a.m., police said. Police said several rounds were fired but they would not say from what kind of weapon.

The same house, owned by Gwenetta Welch, 40, was then hit by three bullets fired from a vehicle at 2:21 a.m., police said.
