Shippensburg University recently announced several staff changes, according to news releases from the Shippensburg, Pa., school.

Donald Wilkinson has been appointed vice president for administration and finance. A Louisiana native, Wilkinson joined the university in 1984 as director of administrative services.

Melinda Fawks will replace him as associate vice president for administration and finance. A Pennsylvania native, Fawks joined the university in 1992 as a budget accountant.

James P. Crowley is the new associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Crowley comes to the university from University of Delaware, where he was assistant to the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.

Turning Points, a bereavement support group sponsored by Lutheran Home Care/Hospice of the Good Shepherd, will meet Sunday, July 30, from 2-3 p.m. in the conference room of Lutheran Home Care Services half a mile south of the Chambersburg Mall on Pa. 997 in Chambersburg, Pa.

The Heritage Craft Center will hold classes beginning Aug. 4 at the newly remodeled Caperton Train Station in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Classes will be held in applique quilting, chair caning and basket making.

An open baseball tournament for 11- and 12-year-olds will be held Aug. 9-10 at South Jefferson Park in Summit Point, W.Va. It will be held by the Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Commission and the Summit Point Baseball League.

The featured artist for July and August at Kendall, Funk & Bismark is Jeff Barnhart.

Barnhart is a local artist who frequently displays his paintings at the jeweler's gallery at 31 S. Main St. in Chambersburg, Pa.

WIN Victim Services will be hosting its fifth annual Golf Tournament for Women on Sept. 15, 1997 at 9 a.m. at Majestic Ridge Golf Club in Chambersburg, Pa.

This annual tournament helps WIN continue to serve victims of violent crime in Franklin and Fulton counties.
