Eat it upside down

Dairy Queen's Blizzard, introduced in 1985, came with slogan - "Upsidedownright Thick." Promoted as being so thick you can serve it upside down, 100 million Blizzards were sold in their first year on the market, according to Mike Krance, Dairy Queen spokesman.

On any given day, Blizzards account for 30 to 35 percent of his sales, according to John Clopper, owner of the Dairy Queen on Dual Highway in Hagerstown.
