Hagerstown City Park visitors can quench their thirst again, a city official said Wednesday.
Public Works Manager Doug Stull said the water fountain at the concession stand in the southern end of the park was stolen last winter.
Stull said a new fountain has been installed. Park visitors also can drink from the fountain at the Hager House on the other end of the park, but only when the house is open for tours.
Stull said water fountains used to be located throughout the park, but they were vandalized so often that officials decided not to replace them.
