Trooper suffers broken hand in arrest of man

MARLOWE, W.Va. - A West Virginia State Police trooper suffered a broken hand after responding to a domestic dispute near Dam Number 5 Road in the Marlowe area Sunday, police said.

Arrested was Keith Allen Delosier, 32, of Hedgesville, according to Magistrate Court records.

Delosier was charged with domestic battery, destruction of property, battery on officer and obstructing, according to court records.

A woman in the area told authorities that her boyfriend was drinking and started pushing her around, according to Magistrate Court records.

The man had also started to break windows in the woman's house, court records said.

After the suspect was placed into a cruiser, the man began banging his head off a window and kicked Trooper E.D. Burnett in the back of the head while Burnett was driving, according to court records.

Burnett stopped the vehicle and went to the back of the car to subdue the man. When Burnett opened the door, he was kicked in the right hand, said court records.
