The Washington County Commissioners approved two rezonings on Tuesday night.
In one, 8.68 acres owned by Mack Trucks Inc. bordering U.S. 11 north of Hagerstown was changed to Business General from Industrial General and Residential Urban.
Commissioner Ron Bowers, who works for Mack, abstained.
The Mack property surrounds the entrance to their manufacturing complex near Dentler Bros. Furniture.
The commissioners also unanimously rezoned 18 acres owned by Triad Properties Inc. on Robinwood Drive east of Hagerstown from Agricultural to Residential Suburban Tuesday night.
The property borders the Robin's Glenn townhouse subdivision and the Brightwood Acres East single-family home subdivision.
