FSU commencement is Tuesday

Frostburg State University's Hagerstown Center will honor 126 graduates from the past academic year at Tuesday's commencement ceremony at The Maryland Theatre.

FSU President Catherine R. Gira will award the degrees at the 7 p.m. ceremony, according to an FSU news release.

Speakers include Richard W. Phoebus Sr., president and chief executive officer of Home Federal Savings Bank; alumnus Leon Brumback, a North Hagerstown High School teacher and tennis coach; and Charles Kepler, an accounting student.

Awards will be presented by the center's Department of Business Administration to Todd S. Screen, the department's 1997 honors graduate; and Robert T. Smith. Screen and Smith completed the business administration program with 4.0 grade point averages.
