HVAC class an option in the fall

May 13, 1997

Washington County high school students could have the option of preparing for a career in heating/ventilation-/air conditioning/refrigeration starting this fall.

The Washington County Board of Education Tuesday night approved plans to start a joint program with Hagerstown Junior College.

Given sufficient enrollment, the program would be taught at the Career Studies Center with a teacher provided by HJC, said Robin Spaid, associate dean at the college.
