CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Three Chambersburg men were arrested Saturday night in connection with a burglary that occurred at a mobile home park where a 17-year-old youth was shot to death on Wednesday, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Charged were:

  • Michael Paul Jett, 18, of 301 E. Queen St.
  • Marcus Larock Taylor, 18, of 8719 Rowe Run Road.
  • George Washington Jones, 18, of 153 W. King St.

The men were charged with burglary, attempted robbery, attempted theft and criminal conspiracy, police said. They were being held at the Franklin County Prison Sunday in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Ernesto "Ernie" Casanova Jr. was shot to death on Wednesday morning by Daniel Alan Frazier after he entered Frazier's mobile home on Sycamore Grove Road, according to police.

Frazier and his father declined to comment on the arrests Saturday.

On Thursday, Alan Frazier said his son fired at Casanova to protect his home. Also on Thursday, police investigated a second burglary that occurred late Wednesday night.

Police, in a statement on Saturday, said the investigation is continuing. Trooper Mark Grove, who is leading the investigation, was not available for comment.

Other police officials said they had no additional information.
