Martinsburg City Police will hold a public hearing Thursday to discuss how the department plans to spend a recently awarded federal block grant.
The hearing also will offer citizens a chance to to learn more about the city's law enforcement efforts.
Citizens also will be able to ask police department leaders questions about public safety matters.
Thursday's meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Martinsburg City Council chambers at 232 N. Queen St.
The grant was awarded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice.
