Maple syrup recipes

Maple Fudge

- 1 tablespoon flour

- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 2 cups maple syrup

- 1/4 cup light corn syrup

- 1/2 cup milk or cream

- 1 tablespoon butter

Mix flour and sugar in saucepan. Mix in maple syrup, light corn syrup and milk or cream. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until the temperature reaches 232 to 236 degrees. Remove from heat and drop butter on top. Let cool until lukewarm. Beat until the glossy look begins to leave. Pour quickly into buttered pan. Nuts may be added. Cut when cool.


Maple Milkshake

- 1 cup milk

- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream

- 3 tablespoons maple syrup

Blend all ingredients.
