In the cave

February 08, 1997|By Justina Stevens

There is something new lurking in downtown Hagerstown. Something that seems to be attracting teenagers as well as Generation X-ers.

It is the Adullam's Cave, Hagerstown's Underground and it seems to be a hit with Hagerstown's younger population.

Not only does it give teens a place to go, but it gives them a chance to relax and forget their problems for a while.

Hot drinks, such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino are served as well as some food.

The music is not live but has a sound quality that a lot of systems can't match.

There is room for people to dance, as well as tables to sit at if dancing in front of people isn't quite your style.

Many events happen weekly at Adullam's Cave. They usually take place on weekends. You can arrive when you want (after the scheduled time of the event) and leave when you want or when the event is over.

You may not like coffee but don't let that keep you from experiencing an event at Adullam's Cave, Hagerstown's Underground. Just don't drink three cappuccinos with a lot of sugar unless you can handle your caffeine.
