CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A 21-year-old Chambersburg man was killed early Wednesday morning when he was thrown 50 feet from his Jeep after it rolled over on Wayne Road in Guilford Township, Pennsylvania State Police said.
The victim, Spencer Bruck of the 5400 block of Wayne Road, died at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pa., according to a hospital spokeswoman. Bruck had been flown there from Chambersburg Hospital.
Bruck was southbound on Wayne Road about two-tenths of a mile south of its intersection with New Franklin Road around 1:40 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle, according to state police. It hit a stone wall on the west side then a utility pole before rolling over twice. The vehicle ended up in a culvert and Bruck was found 50 feet away, police said.
He was not wearing a seat belt, police said.
