Horses found with stab wounds in St. Thomas

St. THOMAS TOWNSHIP, Pa. - A St. Thomas Township horse owner found five of his horses injured from stab wounds on Thanksgiving Day, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The injuries were not life threatening, police said.

The horses were running loose on Alvie May's farm in the 800 block of Loudon Road when they were attacked, police said.

They had multiple cut and stab wounds. A fillet knife was found at the scene, police said.
